This paragraph, from the WSJ, was quoted by Ron in Bayside in another post:Prudential Douglas Ellman, a major realty, is seeing a big increase in prospective buyers coming in the door looking for condos. The old JP Morgan headquarters is going residential. Cipriani Club Residences, 55 Water Street, is selling to the likes of Bruce Willis and Naomi Campbell. Is there an address error? I’m pleased to learn that the plaza next to 55 Water St has been renovated: it contains the NY Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial. Does the underground connection between 55 Water St and 4 New York Plaza still exist? I used to use it to get to the MHT cafeteria, which was situated underneath the plaza. |
