I'm confused.

There was a relatively long-term GO, that just ended yesterday (but I think it's starting up again on Monday), sending northbound D's up the CPW local and, on weekdays, northbound C's express from Canal to 145 (to avoid congestion at 59). This was for switch replacement south of 59.

Did your rerouted A stop at 50? The upper level northbound platform has been taped off on weekends.

And, more importantly, with that switch south of 59 out of service, and your A on the local track, how on earth did a D train manage to pull in on the express track?
