Wow you did great. The fifth ave location was closed last year (along with some other stores to make way for another hi-rise luxury rental building. If has been more common in the past 5-6 years that the wholesale district along 28th Street and 6th Ave has been given way to these hi-rise rentals. I am surprised at the White Castle website, there is another Manhattan location on Adam Clayton Powell jr, between 124th and 125th Street in Harlem (and has been there for several years), but I guess Harlem is forgotten in White Castle's book (despite that the majority of White Castles are located in minority neighborhoods, except for the one on Fort Hamilton Parkway in Brooklyn, near the D/M station. The Transit Museum store is located on the main level, north of the main ticket area. Facing the right section of the ticket windows and departure boards, go right towards the Vanderbilt side, and make a slight right past the Chase ATM vestibule, it's near Tracks 39-40-41. |
