I note that LOTS of NYC Subway, passenger and freight trains, streetcars and buses, interruban cars and trains photos were taken during WWII. The Government PAID photographers to take pictures all during the war years in dozens of American cities. Those photos have all been digized and can be downloaded. I currenly have 65 photos taken in Baltimore between 1942 and 1945, all showing streetcars, trolley coaches and buses in "Transit at work" shots and city background shots.

This current NYCT photoban is just plain paranoia at work.

BTW, we are NOT at War. The President cannot declare War, ONLY Congress can. Currently, Congress authorized military action in Afganistan and Iraq, but DID NOT declare war. Not now, not in Viet Nam, not even in Korea. The last time Congress declared War was December 8, 1941.
