I rode the LIRR in Flatbush Ave for four years and just about every other passenger had an open beer, soda or coffee container. No one ever told a passenger they couldn't take or consume it on board. Heck they even sell them on the platforms there.That's the LIRR, which has its own set of rules and "traditions." These rules only apply to MTA-labeled subways, buses, and SIRT. |
