Well, Glendale is still somewhat "rural" looking depending on the angle, the photo I am thinking of had the little station house surrounded by farmland and empty fields (and then of course that 1800's hotel and saloon building across the street.
Even Glendale has urbanized quite a bit around the station, even if not as much as Fresh Pond and obviously Richmond Hill.
