When I finally got into a Q the other night at Stillwell, the car lighting seemed very intense especially right under the light. About a week ago someone mentioned that they were convert the fluorescents in subway cars to LED's. It seemed too much.I was riding home on the Q tonight, when I think I saw the uncomfortably lit R68A 524x going in the opposite direction. I wasn't even in the car, but I felt like the skin on my face had been irradicated. My handy photo meter recorded a ph of 11. I think these dangerous levels of electromagnetic radiation can be avoided by simply disconnecting every other car light fixture. Even with only 1/2 the LED bulbs lit, the cars will be more than adequately lit. And you'll be saving loads of electricity. |
