Don't forget that the R46s were all renumbered (not in order) in 1994-95, so some of today's 6xxx series started out with lower numbers than some of today's 5xxx series.Example: 1220 ---> 5984 536 -----> 6042 R46 Renumbering That's very interesting and suggests a possible explanation for the mixing of 5000 & 6000 cars. Could it be that the mixing of the renumbered cars is governed by regrouping of cars by their car numbers? I will have to do some field research to see if this is the underlying explanation. |
