No and no.

Amtrak burned bridges with Bombardier decades ago over the Acela I, even though they used ALP-46s on the last NYP-PHL Clockers. (BBD Transportation is now part of Alstom.)

And thanks so much for opening that wound for me, showing Westfield NJ as a two-track line when that was part of a four-track main line.

PS. Ronkonkoma station may be right next to ISP, but there isn't even a shuttle bus operating between the station and the airport terminal.
