My uncle Frank was serving in the Navy, on a Destroy, in the North Atlantic on convoy duty. He remained in the Navy for 30 years.My Uncle Jimmy's one year enlistment in the US Army was almost up. He continued to serve until the war's end in Europe. He reached the Elbe River. |
