Regarding that water main break, since the only way to get to Coney Island on the IND was via 8th Ave., I would have tweaked that service plan as follows:

A - unchanged
AA - Wash. Hts-168th St. and Hudson Terminal, rush hours
BB - Wash. Hts-168th St. and 34th St.-6th Ave., all times except rush hours
C - Concourse-205th St. and Coney Island, all times except rush hours, express 145th St. to 59th St., via Houston St. and Rutgers tunnel.
CC - Concourse-Bedford Park and Coney Island, rush hours, via Houston St. and Rutgers tunnel.
D - Concourse-205th St. and 34th St.-6th Ave., rush hours, express in Bronx peak direction, express 145th St. to 59th St.
E - unchanged
F - Jamaica-179th St. and 34th St.-6th Ave., all times.
GG - unchanged
HH - unchanged
