Ok, so me and my friends witnessed the same thing on the Brooklyn bound Sea Beach on the bridge, circa 1984. My neighborhood was right in the middle of it's transformation from Norwegian/Irish/Italian/Jewish to Chinese, so the trains had a lot of chinamen on them. A woman's bag ripped and a few of the crabs dropped to the floor of the R46 car and were running all around the car under the seats, and she was trying to gather them up, all while 3 or 4 blacks with the Kangols, gazelles, and sheepskin coats were laughing, pointing, and telling her to get them! Good times, we akk had a laugh! |
