Very interesting info; thanks!I had read someplace (possibly in a book about SLC) that the head of TA New Car Engineering in the 1950s and maybe beyond was a guy named Reggie Welch. It sounded like he was the go-to guy and I wonder if he was the conservative type who did not want to try new technology, or if his bosses told him not to take any chances? |
