from where I sit in Oaklanb CA, sabotage seems uikely. Electrical wiring has higher resistance at higher temperatures. This becomes a feedback loop.
As an example, wiring in conduit on rooftops needs to be upsized 2 times (12-8) because it will be heated by the sun. So, if any segment of thesupply to the catenary New Rochelle to Sunnyside is overheating, circuit breakers would trip. Are you having a heat wave?
