When the EE and KK were eliminated and adjustments made to other lines including cessation of F exp service N/O Church Ave, for the next month or so, the lowest numbered R-1/9s were laid up in the S/B exp tk N/O Church Ave. Every day a few trains of those cars would depart for Coney Island Yd for scrapping. |
