And to throw mud in the face of the TA, the new 'deep level' station the MTA wants to build Under Grand St will occupy the same space the LOMEX tunnel are located,abit offsides to the East.

What does that mean?
They found it to be cheaper to use the old never used tunnels,than build two track ways on either side of the street, and use the SAS tunnels already built at the foot of the Manny B?
