This is the location of the official NYC geographic center marker.

It's in the middle of what Urban Planning Twitter calls a "stroad." and is right next to a cemetery and a standalone KFC. The geographic center of the densest large city in the US. Even denser than Gaza which is supposedly unlivable.

This is why geographic centers are meaningless.
