The former IRT trackway shown in the photo is now a narrow hot corridor that eventually leads past a very, very hot signal equipment room next to the Grand Central Station Tower/Crew Reporting office. The trackway is now lined with various MoW storage, offices, and communication rooms.The place is just plain nasty!!! Is it nastier now as compared to 1985 ? Bill M |
