The IBX line is a crucial freight link for the Tri-State Area, the best way to go for the IBX is to go the River Line route and run freight during isolated time periods overnight.Same thing will probably have to happen with the Lower Montauk since NYAR depends on that line heavily. It would suck for the Lower Montauk at first since that would mean no direct service to Manhattan, but after time, hopefully NIMBYs on the line would warm up to it, and then you can link it up to the (7) line. |
