Of course it wasn't.It was conquered in the name of "Manifest Destiny"Destiny's. Christopher Columbus spoke of it within his journals,while Leif Ericsson, and Henry Hudson thought of it,yet left well enough alone. The several tribes of Israel that did manage to make it to these shores co-opted into native society with fluidity. It was European(Anglo-Saxon, Spaniards and Dutch) settlers who brought their identity disorders to North Central and South America. |
