Yes, that was what I was told by someone closely with the restoration of R-10 #3189 that it has its original WABCO A-1 3YC one, and you are correct, #3184 was given a modern air compressor (a la R-27) when it was done at 207th Street Shop in 2017.I have taken rides on museum cars #5760 (R-12) and #6239 (R-15), and they have their original air compressors too, just like #3189 (R-10) All images from nycsubway.org    -William A.
