The "South Broad" cars were bought for the extension of the Broad Street subway, to provide additional service. They, and the original cars, ran the length of the line.

The Bridge cars were owned by/financed by? - I don't know the details - the Delaware River Port Authority, to serve the line to Camden. After being replaced by the PATCO cars, they were assigned to subway service, running with the Broad Street and South Broad cars.
