A theory floated now is that those smoke "bombs" were detonated prematurely by accident and his intention was to do his deeds further up the line, possibly DeKalb. Also when the smoke filled the car, he got down low to get to the fresher air and to see which would possibly explain his shooting victims being shot lower, avoiding vitals and inflicting below the belt wounds, thus no fatalities. |
