I believe it was the R-46's and not the R-44's that had this feature. There was button or switch by the end storm door that you could unlock the door in an emergency.Someone figured this out and word got around and people were using this button to unlock the end door. When the TA found this out, they either placed a stainless steel plate over the button or removed the button and plated it over. During this time, did anyone fall between the cars after defeating this feature ? Bill Newkirk |
