The Ganz UV-type cars date from between 1956 and 1965, with the middle trailers being even older than this. They're still the dominant type on several routes and are museum-esque in their charm.1959-built car 3378 leaving Batthyany ter on route 19....  3469 was built in the early 1960s, leaving Boraros ter....  Some shots of the Budapest Metro and its communist-era cars coming when I get round to it. |
