That was an interesting month, September 1989. A and C service cut back to 34th, E on the F, Q service extended northward to 207th St to cover for the A (allowing R38's to make a rare post GOH appearance on the Brighton line) and the D running local north of 59th. 57th/6th was closed and rush hour B trains ran only to Rock Center, otherwise just a shuttle between Stillwell and 36th St. |
