In reply to the entry for September 8, 1989, now being it is 32 years ago back then...The irony is that, in a full circle, R-10 car #2961 was also in the first known recorded regular in-service passenger run, as part of the pilot set with those overhauled cars operating along the "C" on February 22, 1985. The consist on the initial trip, going from Bedford Park Boulevard to Rockaway Park, was s/#3176-3011-2961-3003-3021-2960-3107-3047/n. -William A. Padron ["(C) 8 Avenue Local"] |
