That’s the only reason I can think of except that the Lex Av El service which most of the time ran only as far as E/Pky, ran to 111 St during rush hours and that joint service was so indicated on the maps. The same situation existed with the Manhattan el service operating via the W Farms Line to Freeman St in the Bx. |
