We dont know why other than he was cocky.But it made littles sense to scrap MP54 parts when LIRR maintenance knew nothing on how to maintain an M-1, knowing perfectly well the concurrent PC Budd Metroiner MU was also bug ridden and a horse designed by committee. All that mattered to Ronan was "new" and to splash silver and blue paint on everything. |
