A serious error in judgement on his part. He should have had his feet held to the fire for that one. The other complication was Rockefeller promising to make the LIRR the "finest commuter railroad in the country". When the laughing stopped , may thought that he lost his mind. This extra pressure no doubt was felt by Ronan & his crew with the resulting flow of bad decisions. |
