Yes, but...You're being too Manhattan focused on the question and are ignoring anyone who wants to travel between just Queens and The Bronx. For a good 16 years in the 70s and 80s, my grandfather was an instructor at the NYPD range at Rodman's Neck. If such an operation had existed during his time there, if it also had a queens station, it would have been quite convenient for him. A short walk to the Q39, train up to Co-op City, and then the Bx29 to the range. |
