Was there a lower platform beneath the current local platforms at 75th Avenue.I ask because the yard tracks drop below the the main line. There is a set of stairs on each platform with a locked door and stairs going to a lower level. These lower levels once had tracks going to the Jamaica Yard and the 1939 Worlds Fair. Does anyone have knowledge of lower level platforms? |
