When the Great Neck aerators project was starting up, the plant used to get a lot of ducks in the rack track. I don't know what they ate, but they'd swim there and go at it.Sometimes the aerators wold do a normal speed change, and the flow around would increase and suck one in. The results weren't pretty. They learned to stay away after a while... |
