Many parts of life ain't pretty. We can have a tantrum and make them worse (close the asylums, send the trouble into the public) or improve the unpretty parts (jails, asylums, etc) to the extent of our ability and will to do so. The People, or some of them, have made their choice. Al of us below the celebrity/political class live with the results. |
