After several failed attempts and comprehensive studies?The latter hopefully would have had reliable data (unless the studies were either so badly planned out* or underfunded). And shouldn't someone there have had relevant surface transit planning experience and or a masters in public transportation with a concentration in surface transit planning**? Something sounds very wrong with the MTA. *retired Bungalow Bar drivers might done a more reliable job studying streets and routes, if that was the problem. **although from what I've seen posted here, it sounds as though degrees don't necessarily mean any competence at the agency. |
