I believe it regularly departed form NYPS directly opposite the Broadway Ltd. So there you had side by side the PRR's signature train alongside the LIRR most lowly train.

That's awesome! Nowadays, the closest equivalent is the AM run from West Hempstead with no corresponding PM departure. I think it might be the most oddball commuter train to visit Penn Station of the 3 railroads, or perhaps it ties with the last remaining MU run from East Williston.
