Four single level comets with an ACS-64 should perform much better than NJT's 9+ multilevel beasts...I wonder if this is some form of test, which if it can actually keep to the schedule, might result in a more ad-hoc approach to whether a given train runs with Comets or Silverliners? Maybe with more off-peak service as a goal? |
