It's from the book "Change at Ozone Park". It said it was open. Service was horrible near the end. Probably as bad as the Long Island City local stations near the end. The line was truncated at Ozone Park once the line to Rockaway was given over to the subway. So for about 10-15 years, the line already began to deteriorate with very few trains before finally closing in 1962. |
