I can remember standing in the vestibule with the door open as the train crossed over Rte 25A at Smithtown on more than one occasion. No one gave it a second thought, unlike today where 50 people would take a video on their phone; post it to social media; and then start ripping the MTA a new one over how unsafe the trains are.
