Hello

the EL ran UNDER the Macoombs Dam Bridge Viaduct and its El station headhouse at the south end had stairways both down to 8th Avenue and W. 155th Street, but also UP towards the roadway viaduct sidewalks --see photos below

BELOW -- looking south along the 9th Ave El S/B Express track at the S/B W.155th Street island Platform



BELOW -- looking north at W. 154th street & 8th Ave on the 9th Ave EL as it passes north UNDER the Macoombs Dam bridge Roadway viaduct to the W. 155th Street express Station by the Polo Grounds
