Of course on both points, however, this kind of a "tribute" in the mezzanines were not done in any other station done by Vickers, the tiles do match the color scheme of the rest of the main color scheme of the main part of the station, including the platform level, and the exact design (although color change to the scheme of Penn Station's color) was repeated at the 34th St/Penn Station station (and very possibly others) mezzanine/hallway also.

Furthermore, when there was a tribute to some local building or scene, the whole theme of the station was in that motif, always including the platform level.
