I rode them many, many times on the Abbott. For three years, every Saturday morning started out with a trip on an Abbott from 42nd St. to 14th, then changing to a Lonesome Larry to Brooklyn.The CPW express dash was the ultimate joyride. You'd be at full speed halfway through 72nd going nb and from there it was Katy bar the doors. I'd give anything to uncover some RFW footage from that era. |
