You are describing the societal problem that has been created by how automation has been implemented. It must be addressed, if this society is to continue.What's unsustainable is the highly skewed income and wealth distribution. Getting back to the subways... What's unsustainable about the wage structure isn't the total amount. It's how its distributed between direct vehicle operations and maintenance. |
