The point there is that the gas taxes in Europe cover the cost of road maintenance, whereas they do not hereThe roads are abysmal in Europe, so that money (as high as 60-70 percent of the price at the pump in some countries, which is immoral) is going into someone's pockets. Never mind their charging tolls on top of those taxes, on the motorways. |
