I always thought the solution to that was to change the prefix on one side or the other. So the Reading side keeps R and the PRR side gets P. So P1 Airport, P2 Newark, P3 Elwyn, P5 Thorndale, P6 Cynwyd, P7 Trenton and P8 Chestnut Hill West. Because of the similarlity between P and R, they could also use L, because the PRR is the left side. |
