I could barely understand the ordering process at Kumagaya, forget about getting a green car seat: As it is I needed to go to the booth at Tokyo because the ticket wasn't letting me out... for Shinkanesen you cannot use Suica for the "outer" station and the Shinkansen ticket for the "inner" station - before boarding you must exit, re-enter the outer station using the rail fare ticket, and shove both tickets into the Shinkansen turnstile simultaneously. Reverse process for exiting. Dumb! |
