Hm, I'm not aware of how they're financed, so it's all Federal, no city/state $$? OK.I don't think it's a great stretch to consider that diesel-electric locos might run in electric only mode with a bit of adaptation... they've been doing that since the '50s, and a diesel work loco may need to move trains in case of a power issue. |
