Have the NEC detour along I-895 from north of the current BWI station, run as a suspension Bridge over the Patapasco River, then rejoin the existing NEC alignment at Bayview Yard. Existing MARC service can service Baltimore Penn Station and the light rail gets extended to the BWI airport station for Baltimore-bound passengers.
