It's been mentioned here that there was at one time a plan to extend the A train to Riverdale, with the line going under Riverdale Ave. How far it might have gone, I'm not sure. All the way to the Yonkers line? At any rate, the people then living in Riverdale didn't want it, so the idea was cancelled. |
