I remember when admission to the zoo was 25¢. In fact, even that was only charged on Wednesdays; other days it was free. Then they reversed it, and admission was charged every day except Wednesday. Technically, you still don't have to pay to enter the grounds on Wednesday, although you are strongly encouraged to make a "contribution". |
